silamin

Software between your equipment and your systems.

I connect production equipment and instruments (PLCs, scanners, scales and data-acquisition hardware) to the systems that run your orders, inventory and test data. So the numbers are right without anyone typing them in twice.

What I build

Instrument control in C#

Data acquisition and control on National Instruments hardware (NI-DAQmx), with an operator UI your team can actually use.

Equipment-to-system integration

PLCs, scanners, scales and machines connected to your MES or ERP over MQTT, REST and SQL, including on closed production networks.

.NET and Azure backends

APIs and event-driven services (Kafka, MQTT) with CI/CD, and tests that emulate the hardware before it is on site.

Three ways to start

Start small. Every price is fixed and excludes VAT. Everything runs remotely.

First step

Review · 1 day

€925 · fixed price

I map every place where a number is moved by hand between machine, production, office and ERP.

  • · A written list of every manual step
  • · What each one costs you in time today
  • · What it costs to remove it
  • · Two video sessions and the exports you already have
  • · Half paid on order

You keep the report, whatever you decide afterwards.

In depth

Review · 3 days

€2,700 · fixed price

The same review in more depth, with a priced proposal for the solution.

  • Everything in the 1-day review
  • Data flows and systems described
  • A priced solution proposal, point by point

Build

The solution, built

Fixed · quoted first

Once the scope is clear, from a review or a 25-minute call, you get a fixed price before any work starts.

  • Instrument control or test software
  • An equipment or MES/ERP integration
  • A .NET or Azure service

How it works

  1. A short call.

25 minutes on where numbers get typed in twice, or on what your hardware needs to do. No sales pitch.

  2. A fixed-price review, remote.

1 or 3 days, over video and the exports you already have. You get a written report.

  3. You decide.

The report is yours. If you want the solution built, you get a fixed price for it.

Who you'd work with

I'm Amin Aouina, a software developer with my own company in Kolding, Denmark. I've built software for production and logistics since 2023, including at Techsoft A/S.

At Techsoft I built the software for an automated parcel-sorting line in Kolding, from the operator's web app down to the PLC. I integrated wireless hand scanners into the client's MES and built the MQTT service on the closed production network. I've also built a production dashboard for an FMCG manufacturer, and instrument control in C# on National Instruments hardware.

I work in .NET/C#, Azure, SQL, MQTT and Kafka. I write acceptance criteria before I deliver, and I tell you if I find a bug before you do.

I work in English and French. I'm in Denmark (CET), so US East Coast mornings overlap my afternoons.

Questions

Can you really do this remotely?

Yes. The review runs over video, with screen-shares and exports from the systems you already have. Builds are delivered remotely; when your hardware is involved, I test against it over a remote session on your machine.

Do we need to change our ERP or MES?

No. The review starts from the systems and machines you have today.

What if we don't build anything afterwards?

Then you keep the report. It's yours, and you can use it with another supplier.

Why a fixed price?

So you can say yes without guessing at an hour count. If the work takes less time than expected, the price doesn't change.

How do invoicing and VAT work?

You're invoiced by Silamin, a registered Danish company (CVR 46473000). Prices exclude VAT. EU businesses are invoiced under the reverse charge; UK and US businesses are invoiced without Danish VAT.
